Rando Imperator 2026, the official video

After all that road, you end up looking in the mirror, and you won’t always recognize yourself: was it you who overcame that setback? Was it you who kept riding while your whole body told you to stop? You might not recognize yourself, at the end of a journey like Rando Imperator: is it ours, that smile while snow falls upon us on the mountains, and on the plains, while winter melts into spring, and the mountains blend with rivers and embarkments, and all we leave behind from Germany to Italy it’s pieces of us that made it, in a way? And as we go back home, and we smile and cry and everything mixes together inside and out, we think about what’s left after journey like this, four countries, two days, who knows how many kilometers. Something stays inside of us for the rest of the year, until once again we’ll be looking at ourselves in the sky, the water, the earth.

The eleventh edition of Rando Imperator: a cycling journey held on May 16–17, 2026, along the Via Claudia Augusta, between Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, with nearly 300 participants, half of whom came from Germany and the rest of the world. Let’s experience it again through the official video, and we want to say once more a huge thanks to all of you who took part in this little act of madness.

Thanks to all the staff, who almost never sleeps but always works during the three work days between Munich, Bolzano, and back to Ferrara, and never wants to stop supporting your smiles, doubts, and certainties between one refreshment point and the next.
