Bike Night is an event that unites bikes, passion and people. A dream that begins at midnight, starting all together from the city, pedaling along cycle paths through the night chasing the light of dawn in the morning. The Witoor night cycling tour is a unique experience, now in its eleventh edition, which every year brings cyclists of all ages to travel safely at night, and is now ready for a brand new stage, the first to start from Trieste and the first to arrive abroad.
Bike Night arrives in Trieste for the first time, ready to intercept all the passion for cycling that is ever-growing in the city: it starts from the Old Port, then passes along the Rive in front of Piazza Unità d’Italia, following the Parenzana: you cross the border with Slovenia and then enter Croatia, until arriving in Poreč.
The only way to experience Trieste by bike at night and discover the natural wonders that surround it. A celebration of bikes and cyclists, finally free to pedal together, in collaboration with Treesport. We will wait for you at the starting village, then three refreshment points along the route and breakfast in Poreč in Croatia.

- Bike rental is currently being defined and will be activated in the coming weeks.
- 8 EUR day event insurance (for those not affiliated it is ideal for cycling safe and carefree)
You can find bikes and helmets at Departure Village, in the Bike Area, and deliver them at arrival.

The track of the route in gpx format is sent to all participants during the week before the event, in the email with useful information.
On the route you will also find the “classic” reflective arrows visible even in the dark.

Who may register?
The route has a total difference in altitude of 880 meters. It includes stretches of dirt road.
100 km can be a lot, it is a challenge, but there is no need to be afraid! In a group and supported by the three refreshment points we will all be able to reach Poreč and celebrate the sunrise together: with a constant pace there should be no problems.
The invitation is also extended to all hand bike athletes who want to try this nighttime adventure!
Minors can participate only accompanied by their parents or someone who takes their place.

Arrival
Witoor’s staff members will welcome you upon your arrival at Lido di Volano. You will leave your bike in an enclosed area while you enjoy breakfast offered to you by Witoor. There will be showers and a relax area.

Before start, during registration process, you can drop your luggage and hand it to our staff members who will look after it and will give it to you upon arrival. Please only carry average size luggage. Along the route our rescue car will be at your disposal for assistance. - In case of bad weather the event will not be cancelled. In case of no-show you will not be refunded of any of the fees or extra fees you have paid.
