Important notes on the route
Bike Night Rome is the new stage of the Bike Night Tour. It will be a historical adventure: the route will pass along the Via Appia Antica to leave Rome, along dirt roads in the Castelli Romani area, past Lake Giulianello, and on the final stretches toward the finish at the foot of the Lepini Mountains.
It features an elevation gain of 1,500 meters, with several climbs. On the Via Appia Antica, caution is required on the basalt sections.
Bike Night Rome therefore presents technical and altitude challenges: it’s a tougher Bike Night than the others, but no less exciting, but a good level of fitness is essential, and above all, participants must have a mountain bike or gravel bike (traditional or electric) with suitable wheels.

Bike Night is an event that unites bikes, passion and people. A dream that begins at midnight, starting all together from the city, pedaling along cycle paths through the night chasing the light of dawn in the morning. The Witoor night cycling tour is a unique experience, now in its 12th edition, which every year brings cyclists of all ages to travel safely at night, and is now ready for a brand new stage, the first to start from Rome and Lazio.
Bike Night arrives in Rome for the first time, ready to intercept all the passion for cycling that is ever-growing in the city. It will be an adventure through history: we’ll start at the foot of the Colosseum, then immerse ourselves in the Appian Way.
Then we’ll begin climbing up and down the Castelli Romani: Castel Gandolfo and the splendid village of Nemi. We’ll pass through the center of Velletri, and then up to the Temple of Hercules in Cori. The finish line will be at the splendid Tenuta Antoniana, an agricultural park at the foot of the Lepini Mountains in the province of Latina that will transport you to another dimension of nature and flavors.
The only way to experience Rome by bike at night and discover the natural wonders that surround it. A celebration of bikes and cyclists, finally free to ride together, for a new stage of Bike Night organized in collaboration with Regina Bike. We’ll be waiting for you at the starting village, followed by three refreshment points along the route and breakfast upon arrival.

For those interested, regional trains with bike transport stop at Latina station (near Latina Scalo), but bike spaces are limited and cannot be reserved in advance.

- 8 EUR day event insurance (for those not affiliated it is ideal for cycling safe and carefree)
You can find bikes and helmets at Departure Village, in the Bike Area, and deliver them at arrival.

The track of the route in gpx format is sent to all participants during the week before the event, in the email with useful information.
On the route you will also find the “classic” reflective arrows visible even in the dark.
Can I go with you?
Bike Night isn’t a race! You can also use pedal-assist bikes and e-bikes. We recommend coming with a mountain bike or gravel bike, given the type of route.
Arrival
Witoor’s staff members will welcome you upon your arrival at Tenuta Antoniana. You will leave your bike in an enclosed area while you enjoy breakfast offered to you by Witoor. There will be showers and a relax area.

Before start, during registration process, you can drop your luggage and hand it to our staff members who will look after it and will give it to you upon arrival. Please only carry average size luggage. Along the route our rescue car will be at your disposal for assistance. - In case of bad weather the event will not be cancelled. In case of no-show you will not be refunded of any of the fees or extra fees you have paid.
