You fall, you hurt yourself, you get lost—anything can happen on a bike, but unlike life, you always find a solution. And there’s never enough dust to chew, or water to rain down on you, or cold to make you shiver so much that you can’t find your way again. The bike is like life: it goes around, but it always takes you somewhere. Every year we try to give you a bike journey that, first and foremost, takes you somewhere inside yourself—who knows, maybe there will be surprises.
That journey is Rando Imperator, the European randonnée from Germany to Italy. In two days, from Munich to Bolzano and Ferrara, it’s a bike journey up and down the Alps, a concentrate of Europe and everything you can see on a bike. Including yourself.
In 2026 there will be the eleventh edition of a journey that has made so many people fall in love for its long distances, the thoughts racing through your head amidst straights and hairpin bends, cities and mountains, rivers and lakes, and above all, people from all over Europe ready to mingle without borders. Rando Imperator is coming back on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 16th, 2026, with its three brevets: Munich-Ferrara 600 km, Munich-Bolzano 300 km, and Bolzano-Ferrara 300 km.

Registration opens on Monday, December 22nd, with special rates until January 6th. In the meantime, save the date: it’s time to pedal again and again without borders.
