It will be a historical adventure: the route will pass along the Via Appia Antica to leave Rome, along dirt roads in the Castelli Romani area, past Lake Giulianello, and on the final stretches toward the finish at the foot of the Lepini Mountains.<\/p>\n<p>It features an elevation gain of 1,500 meters, with several climbs. It will be an adventure through history: we&#8217;ll start at the foot of the Colosseum, then immerse ourselves in the Appian Way.<br \/>\nThen we&#8217;ll begin climbing up and down the Castelli Romani: Castel Gandolfo and the splendid village of Nemi. We&#8217;ll pass through the center of Velletri, and then up to the Temple of Hercules in Cori.
